A Wholistic Approach to Mental Health and Wellness
Nicole believes in the strength and courage of her clients. Prior to her work as a therapist, she spent 10 years teaching people with visual impairments ways to safely and independently navigate their world in order to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. She takes the same approach to her work as a therapist by prioritizing collaborative goal-setting and individualized treatment to help each client embrace their full potential.
Nicole holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has additional training in EMDR. Her work takes a wholistic approach to the individual, considering all the ways in which people are impacted by their relationships, experiences, culture and identity. Nicole’s strength as a therapist lies in her ability to form a strong and collaborative alliance with her clients as they work together to meet therapeutic goals. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, bipolar disorders, OCD, life transitions, divorce counseling, and mental health considerations of physical pain or disability. Her approaches are both evidence-based and strengths-focused.
When not at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with family, working in her garden, reading and going on adventures.
